New and Taking delivery of a 31RLDS on 6/27

Hi Folks
After many years of Boating we are returning to hard ground. We just purchased a 2015 31 RLDS and take delivery next Saturday.
The Mrs., Myself, and two Huskies will be spending some weekends bouncing around and a few weeks settled in somewhere yet to be determined.

We are based in Central Florida so plenty of local camp grounds but I think we will be headed north for some cooler spots.

I have been lurking and reading the forum, appreciate all the great threads and info out there, hopefully we can add to the place a little.

Chris
Samantha

Welcome to the forum!

You'll have lots to chat about once you take delivery.

Remember to pay close attention at the PDI. There's a sticky around here somewhere of what to watch for.

Congratulations on the new trailer and welcome to the forum
(and solid ground).

I'll wager you won't be concerned too much about some motion as you walk around in the trailer.

When you head North, you have to check out Georgia Veteran's State Park just west of Cordele at the hwy 280 Exit on I-75(Exit 109). Beautiful campsites right on Lake Blackshear. Do come in the cooler months however! LOL. Been 100 degrees for the last

Welcome, I know the feeling. Right now my pool table is covered with all the stuff for the TT.
Question, how long did the delivery and walk through take for most?

So after reading many many posts and remembering the fun I had pulling a 34 foot boat and my ex freaking out while we were driving... I decided to buy an Equalizer hitch, so from day one we will have the best possible towing experience.
It was delivered today, holy cow batman, that thing is heavy! I think I just lost 100lbs of towing capacity. But I will say it looks strong and stable, I am looking forward to seeing how it works.

Thanks to all for the suggestions, PM's with info, and welcoming us into the group.

BTW, Saturday night is Camp Driveway and the 17th will be the first CG experience, only about 20 min's from home, but it should be fun.

We took delivery today. Here we are in Camp driveway.
It's late and we are tired, I will pass along more info tomorrow. Thanks to all for the advise.

Camp driveway went well.
We did realize that a smoke or covered vent would be a good idea as the Fla sun just bakes through them. other then that it is all good so far.

As for that hitch, it did the job and is secure, but it will be in the garage except when hauling. Besides for heavy it is a serious knee buster.
