New from Iowa

Hey everyone. New member here from north central Iowa. Picked up my first full size travel trailer last fall. Its a 2006 Jayco Eagle 282 FKS.

Thanks everyone. Yes, i do have some pictures of it to share. bought it from a local car dealer here for what I feel was a pretty good price. I do need to investigate and repair a soft spot a ways in from the door, but beyond that its pretty perfect minus a few small flaws for being 13 years old.

Thanks for the photos. I do have a concern, however, when looking at them:
It appears you are carrying a lot of weight at the rear of the trailer. Weight that far back can contribute to sway issues. Please be aware of that and be careful.

Also, please check the dates on your trailer's tires. Most folks on this site replace tires that are over 4 years old. Unfortunately, trailer tires often don't have a lot of miles and the tread looks fine, but the sun and ozone will breakdown the tires when just sitting. If you haven't already, please be safe and check the dates.
