New from N.S. Canada

Hi there,
My wife and I decided to move on from tenting to a travel trailer. We purchased a 27DSRL White Hawk and have made a couple of short trips so far. Looking forward to reading any advise other Jayco owners have to offer as we are new to camping with a trailer.

Congrats on your new camper. We too are newbies and have purchased a 27DSRL. We are happy so far with the camper. The only issues I had right off the bat are the shower in the 2015 models don't have a shut-off on the shower head. This will cause you to use a lot of water taking showers and quickly fill up your gray tank. I purchased a Camco 43712 shower head on Amazon but haven't had time to install yet. The other issue is the bathroom faucet is too small unless all you want to wash is your fingrtips. I think any hardware store faucet replacement will do.

You are so right. There is not enough room to get a toothbrush under that bathroom faucet. Thanks for your tip on the Camco shower head.

We love Nova Scotia and all that great sea food you have just for the pickings. That whole East Coast has so much to explore and your right at the beginning of heaven.

Enjoy it for many years to come.
