Red face New Girl Here-2012 Jayco white hawk 31dslb

Purchased a 2012 Jayco white hawk 31dslb at the end of the season.
Cant wait to bring it home. Waiting for the snow to disappear. Would love to hear about others experiences with this model or similar model.
Moving up from camping in tent trailers for many years...this is going to be quite a change.

Lucky! We considered taking it out once or twice before winter, but the deal where we bought it was free storage for the winter. If we took it off the lot our warranty started, one trip wasn't worth loosing 8 months of warranty. We have our 1st trip booked for the May long weekend. Hopefully the snow disappears soon, so we can get it home. It's driving me crazy waiting to bring it home.

We weren't quite on the ground before, we were in a 14' Jayco Hardtop with full slide.
It's dry weight was around 4200lbs, so you may as well tow a travel trailer and not worry about cranking a hardtop up and down. I won't miss doing that in the rain.

My brother was in the same boat. He bought it at an RV show in Pennsylvania in September and we live on Long Island 4+ hour trip. The dealer offered to store it there over the winter free of charge and my brother considered it but that's a tough pill to swallow. They were excited to bring it home and use it at least once before the winter and that's what they did.
