new guy looking for camper

Hi All,

About 2 years ago my wife and I saw a Jayco 31 RKS and considered purchasing it. However the seasonal campground we are at thought it was just a little to big for our site and we would of had to change sites in order for it to "fit"
We decided we would save our money and wait since our existing camper was fine and we didnt want to move our site.
Well, last week hurricane Irene came through the Catskill mountains of New York and devastated the area and totalled out our camper.
The good news is, we have insurance and we should be able to replace it with the 31 rks. all I have to do is find one. They do not make that model any longer only the shorter ones that we really do not like the layout.
Does anyone have a 31 RKS?
Thanks and hi to all.

Scotte,
I am in the catskills too (Bovina - next to Margaretville) You should give me a call if you are interested in a great deal on a 2012 26ft bh.
I bought the trailer a few weeks ago and the devastation in the area hs put me in some tough times. I tried to cancel the sale but the dealership will not let me . If you are interested, let me know and we can talk. I bought it at a great price too!

Welcome to the Jayco Owners Forum Scott! Sorry to hear the affect that "Irene" had on you. I hope you can find the new tt that you would like.

Jon, I wish something could be done in situation, unfortunately dealers are not always so forgiving I wish you luck selling yours. Try Ebay, Craigslist, as well as posting here in the 'RV for Sales' forum. At least when someone googles, they may at least get a hit on this site and it could mean a "sale" for you.
