New here!

I have been looking at trailers for a while. My family and I are ready to take the leap into the Camp Trailer life. We will be first time owners.

We are looking at buying a Jayco Jay Flight Slx 286BHSW.

Any links or tips/hints that would help would be appreciated. I have been following other forums but just joined here with anticipation of buying a Jayco!

Tow Vehicle is a 2013 Ram 2500 Diesel

Welcome to the Forum from Western New York State! Do a VERY thorough PDI at the dealership (if it's possible because of the virus thing) before you sign papers, don't let them rush you through it, look the camper over more than once for anything that may need to be repaired, or replaced, and take tons of notes, ask tons of questions on how everything works, don't be afraid to ask more than once if you don't understand something, make sure they test everything in/on the unit. Take smart phone videos of them showing how something works. All this may seem like a lot, but you'll be glad after you get it home. Not too many folks can remember all that information that'll be tossed at you, all at once. Let us know when you get it, and be sure to ask questions here, also. We're all here to help.

Welcome from Wisconsin. Have the whole family, including pets, sit and move around in the Jay Flight Slx 286BHSW for an hour. If someone is cooking inside is there still room for someone else to move around? Look into all the inside cabinets and outside 'basement' storage. Think about where you'll put/store everything. If you have a dog think about where it will sleep, where will it's water and food bowls go so they aren't in the way. It's a big decision so take your time thinking everything through.

Very nice! Congratulations, and I hope you get tons of enjoyment and memories with it. The color coordinated tow vehicle is a nice touch! Thanks for the update and pic.

Wow, that setup looks good and you have it color match also I know that you just can't wait to go out and do some camping.
