Hello! We just got our new Jay Flight 22FB. We went back and forth between the Flight and the Swift because of weight. Ultimately decided we preferred the quality and sturdiness of the Flight, and the 90 gallon fresh water tank! We are pulling with our 2003 Ford Expedition. We took a quick trip over the weekend to test out the tow bar and the weight. It pulled great! Experienced some difficulties on a long steep grade, but otherwise no complaints.
Traveling to Yosemite for Labor Day weekend. We are really looking forward to the long weekend of camping! We plan on getting some good use out of this trailer while our two kids are young and then upgrading tow vehicle and trailer when we need more room in 4 or 5 years.
Any great tips for trailer camping with small kids?
Welcome to the forum danielled and congrats on your new Jay Flight 22FB. Only tip I can give about camping with kids is to enjoy every minute, they grow up so fast. You're building alot of great memories.
Welcome to the Jayco Owners Forum danielled! Sippy cups work great! And if you have young enough kids to worry about "accidents" at night, cheapy thin shower curtains will help keep those mattresses stain free Congrats on the new tt!
