New Jay Flight Swift 287BHBE owner

Hello all first time TT owner here. I'm no stranger to towing, camping, or forums just never put them all together before.

Done plenty of tent camping in my day, but my wife informed me after getting pregnant with our second child that she will not be tent camping again. It has been over 5 years, and decided it's time to get back out into nature(even if it isn't quite roughin it any more). She basically picked out the model, and I said yes dear.

My TV is a 2010 Nissan Titan CC 4x4. I know it's quite the trailer for a half ton, and I intend to upgrade to a 3/4 ton next spring. I was already thinking about it, and this just pushes me along.

I'll be picking it up Friday morning along with a Reese dual cam and Prodigy P2 brake controller. We'll be heading straight to our favorite reservoir for a 4 day weekend.

Any advice you have for me is welcome!

It's a '14 Jay Flight Swift 287BHBE. Not even on Jayco's website yet. It has the same floorplan as the Jay Flight 28BHBE, but missing some features, and a few hundred pounds lighter.
It's the expected strip down you would get in the Swift and minus these features:
The dinette bunks don't extend like the 28BHBE
The counter aren't solid surface
There is a shower curtain instead of the sliding door
No TV

It seems perfect for our family of 5.

Very exiting. Going for the walk through and pickup in 2 hours!

Awning was broken off the lot. We didn't need it, because it the highs were in the 71-73 range while were up there. We actually had to run the furnace since it got down in the 40's. Couple other small items that we noticed. Rear storage won't lock, and the bathroom faucets leak. Taking it in to get that all fixed tomorrow.
