New Jayco 212QB Owner

Hello all from Alabama. Recently purchased our first ever travel trailer. 35 years in the Air Force and many deployments I thought I had done all the camping I would ever do in my lifetime but here I am. I know a lot of friends and family that have RVs and have a blast so I thought we’d take the plunge and go for it. Main reason is to travel this great country of ours and share the beauty of it with my wife and our 11 year old son. Oh forgot to mention my wife has five miniature Dachshund’s (I know right?) so I guess they will be in tow. I’ve been fortunate to visit all 50 states and have explored many of them but my family hasn’t. This ought to be fun making memories to last a lifetime.
See you on the road...

Tad

Welcome from northeast Illinois.

I've taken a similar path, from camping in a tent in the scouts, to an RV with my parents, to no tent in the Army, to my own popup and now my own travel trailer.

But in the military its not really camping if you can't have a campfire!
