New Jayco 25RB owner

Hello. My wife and I bought our first travel trailer, a Jayco 25RB. Hope to learn a lot from this forum and make some new friends.

We too are new 2021 Jayco Jayfeather 25RB owners as of yesterday. We look forward to meeting people on the forum and learning and being in the jayco family. We are upgrading from a RPOD 196.

Welcome! We've done some dry camping in the backyard but have yet to take our 25RB out yet. Looking forward to gong out this Spring. The dry camping experience has been great. The 25RB is exactly what we were looking for and is quite comfortable.

Yeah we’re excited to go out once winter is over. I also like your Set up tow vehicle. We have a 2020 Silverado 1500 with the 5.3, it towed the RPOD like it wasn’t back there only thing that sucked when towing it was due to it being single axle and the winds here in Wyoming it wasn’t as planted as a double axle trailer would be.

Thanks! Yeah, our Silverado is a 1500 with the 5.3 and 10 speed transmission. We got the 25RB in North Alabama and towed it down to the river region of Alabama which consisted of some decent hills and notoriously bad Birmingham traffic. I'm using a Recurve R3 weight distribution hitch with sway control. The setup works perfectly. The truck also pulls the 25RB up and down the hills with no trouble. Oh yes, I believe you about that Wyoming wind! We lived in Casper for a year after retiring from the Air Force.
