New Jayco 330RSTS owner

Adjusting to another new rig after starting in 04 with my parents 1989 Holiday Rambler. Hail storm totaled original causing a string of trailers from Open Range, Forest River and now Jayco where frames seem to be solid.

Schwintek slide trouble got me to this site where I learned a great deal and seem to have whipped the beast into submission. I hope to use this rig to live in while searching for a new home location over time to leave deep south Texas/Mexican Border. Born and raised here, it is no longer the place I grew up in. Nuff said!

Lost my wife and then her mother in 2018 and 2019 sealing my desire to leave home and get closer to kids in Central Texas possibly.

Can't afford to change from my old friend TV 2009 2500 SRW CC Duramax with 52,000 miles. We got to use him twice on extended trip to Smokies and Grand Canyon. Not much fun traveling alone now though.

Welcome to the forum.

I understand about moving closer to the kids. Our kids and g-kids have moved from AZ to the mid-west. We've liked living in AZ, but it's now soooo far from them.

BTW, our old friend TV is a 2006 F350 SRW PowerStroke but has a few more miles than yours; roughly 300,000 more.

Be safe and keep in touch.
