New Jayco Eagle HT 27.5 RKDS Owner Ontario Canada

Bought this 5'er in Ottawa in April and then travelled to Edmonton and the Rockies in June. Pulled with a Cummins Ram 2500. Surprised that I had no major issues on the trip. Couple of mouldings loosened up but otherwise no problems. From reading the forums I guess that there are trailers that demonstrate their faults immediately and I would have thought that after 9800 kms. I would have seen some. I guess that is good news .

Not much time this summer but will be making freeing up 6 weeks for next spring or fall to head to the Yukon by way of the Cassiar. Thinking of leaving midMay (around May 20 to return for Canada Day.

As for mods I just bought a Renogy 200Watt solar system and am trying to locate where the roof wires run. I am hoping they run directly to the battery compartment. There is a black and white wire under my bedroom slide which I will try to follow. Guessing those are solar wires and they seem to be loose under the slide. I will have the dealer fix them so that the slide does not cause a short and maybe the can confirm that they are solar.

Anyway very happy with our trailer!!!!

Congratulations and welcome!

Your experience sounds like ours - a few minor things that need to be corrected, but no major problems.
