New Jayco owner

Goog morning to all,

I am the new owner of a 2016 Jayco 321RSTS, first fifth wheel and first Jayco product for me, use to have a 25 foot TT. Though very happy, must admit I am a bit nervous with the size of it, it will be a learning process but welcoming the challenge with open arms. Right now it is still at the dealer, in hibernation, it is minus 13 here with 2 feet of snow, will get the PDI done at the end of April. This will be a long...... winter for me.
Hoping to learn a lot from this site.

Have a nice day.

Bob

Welcome and congrats! We too, are new 5er owners. We have completed two outings so far and will be taking it into our local service for minor warranty work and another full inspection. We look forward to future camping trips!

Congratulations and welcome!

The 321RSTS is a great floor plan that we strongly considered before ending up with the 323LKTS. We too are new to a 5er, and while I've only towed it about 100 miles so far (home from the dealer), was very happy with the way it handled. The biggest difference I noticed is that I had to swing a little wider in turns as the 5er tracks a little tighter than the TT did. Backing is also different as it reacts differently, but that's just a matter of getting familiar with it.

Welcome to JOF. Your family will quickly come to love the comfort and extra storage. Read up on it if you aren't to excited in anticipation. There are many here who can help by answering questions. remember to look and swing a little wider. I tell my wife to square off her turns. Also try and never back without a spotter. We use inexpensive WalkieTalkies when backing to communicate.

You get to sift through the past experiences and opinions to develop your own.
