New Jayco Owner
Hello All:
I have recently purchased a 2018 Jayco Jayflight 245 SLX and look forward to camping with it. I normally travel throughout Northwestern Ontario, Canada and as far North as I can travel by road in Manitoba, basically wherever I get the urge to go. My children are grown and my wife is still working and not able to travel extensively with me, I have been retired for 3 years and well sitting around just doesn't cut it!

Enjoy it! I pick up a new 285RLS SLX next week. I'm in northern Alberta, about 9 hours north of Edmonton, from originally from Mississauga.
How do you like the SLX so far? I'm liking the look of the one I'm getting, but I was a little surprised to see that it didn't come with a medicine cabinet, and it had a gas-only water heater. I've had the water heater changed to gas/electric. I've also had them install a power tongue jack, and I'll pick up a propane tank plastic cover when I go get it.
Thanks!
Kevin

Welcome to the forum, some great people and knowledge here. We retired last year and are currently on our second major (over 2 weeks) trip. We love traveling in our 23MRB!

I really enjoy it so far, no problems . Yes I would agree it is odd they don't have a medicine cabinet, I will likely build one for it later, ok probably over the next winter when I am not using it! I never had a trailer with a gas/electric water heater, but spend alot of time "off grid", a power tongue jack would be nice! All in all though I am happy with my rig and I would suspect you will be as well!
