New Jayco owner in Ontario, Canada.
Hello....Really can't believe that I'm posting here in a Jayco Forum! Just had a new Eagle Super Light 298 RLDS delivered to a new to us seasonal site. We still have our much loved 17.5G Bigfoot that we enjoy travelling in on roads of Canada and the US. Having decided this year try a seasonal site, it dawned on us that it might not be much fun trying to live in 17' of space for longer periods of time. I suggested to my wife that she might like to see what can be had in a bigger unit. She agreed and off we went to our local Jayco dealer, 10 minutes from our home in London. I read Woodall's Forum all the time, especially posts about various manufactures travel trailers, so I new that a Jayco was a good starting point. We got to sit in all the Jayco models to see the difference in construction, etc. I really was drawn to a rear living room floor plan and my wife agreed to that choice after seeing other floor plans. We choose the RLDS because there are just the two of us 99% of the time, plus our wonderful Golden Retriever. A big reason I like this floor plan is the fact that you can look directly at the TV ....no turning your head 90* to look at the TV down the room. Also, I can watch TV and my wife can work at the table...neither of us in the others way. The Eagle Light with it's tall, arched ceiling was an easy choice when all was said and done. Didn't look at any other brands. Sure hope we made a good choice.
