New Jayco TT

Hello from AZ. Here is a picture of our 2016 White Hawk 27DSRL on our maiden camping trip to Usery Pass campground east of Phoenix over the holidays.

We bought a used Fleetwood Niagara popup 3 years ago that had served us well, but decided to bite the bullet and move up to a TT. I'm really glad I found this forum, lots of great info that has helped get the new rig setup for camping.

Welcome from a fellow Phoenician and congrats on the new rig. We also upgraded from a PUP and got a rear living unit and love it. We have stayed at Usery Pass also. They have some nice hiking trails. It is good you could get a spot with all the snowbirds heading down here.

We lucked out getting a spot for 3 days on short notice. The rear living unit is perfect for the 2 of us. We did some hiking and geocaching while we were there and really enjoyed our first camping trip in the new TT. The trailer is so much nicer than the pop up to be in when it gets cold and the the wind picks up.

Congrats on the purchase and welcome to the JOF! I''m sure you are going to enjoy the upgrade. I remember those tent camping days and what a blessing when we went to the Pup! Then the Travel Trailer and now, the 5th Wheeler. Each one brings new joy!
