New Kid in the Park

Hey everyone!

I'm the proud new owner of a 1996 Jayco Eagle Class C Motorhome. I've been looking for something like it for a while now and couldn't be more pleased. I work in television all over the country and needed a place to call my own. I'm still new to the business (and not paid very well yet), so this is an attempt to save a little money on this crazy journey as well as have the coolest home in my department. I can take all the advice I can get as I plan to give the place a little bit of a facelift with some paint and new upholstery. I lived in an RV with one of my best friends for about six months last year and had such a good time that I wanted to take the chance on one myself and live a more simple and self-reliant lifestyle. First thing on the docket- getting the roof resealed as I saw a few spots that needed attention.

Thanks in advance for letting me be part of the community!

Susan

Welcome to the forum and congrats on the Jayco! There is a wealth of information on this forum and others. But, this forum has the nicest group of members that I have seen. If you have a question, don't be afraid to ask. We we're all new at this one time as well. Please keep us posted on your remodeling and post pictures of your work. We would love to see it all. Most of all, have fun!

CONGRATULATIONS on the JAYCO!!!

...and WELCOME TO JOF!!! The members here are GREAT!!! There is a lot of GREAT information to be found here. I am sure that you will have information and pictures to share with us... so please do!!

Don

Since this is all new to you, you may want to read What`s your most boneheaded RV moment? It is full of those things you never want to do or admit but did. So you may learn a few things from the +400 posts, and avoid some of them... we have all done some of the things written about.

Good Luck!
