Question new member

Just bought home 2013 31.5 RLTS Eagle 5th wheel on Friday night and have one question what does the light switch do that is located on side on the counter as you come into the unit. Thanks.

Don't know for sure, but maybe turn on an exterior light?

Thanks we have checked all lights and 110 plugs but can't find it does anything. It is house type switch I assume for 110

We encountered the same question when we purchased our used 5er. Turned out the two switches did nothing because they controlled a "scare" exterior light on each side of the unit, and both lights had burned out bulbs. Usually, switches just inside the entry door are for exterior lights, porch light, or an overhead interior entryway light. One other possibility is a coat closet inside light, if you have one. Other than that, I don't have any other ideas. You could also contact Jayco via email, with the VIN number of your trailer, and query them.

We found what the switch does as we had not tried the ceiling fan because the chain had fliped up and had not put a stool in until now to get it down. Thanks for your help.
