Expecting delivery of my new 2015 31SS in early May. I am looking for any information that the membership feels would be helpful to a retiree that previously owned a 1982 Jayco Jay Flite 8 popup.

If I recall that is a MH, congratulations! We have rented a few, but never owned one. The one thing that always bugged us was the noise while driving from the pots, pans, dishes and whatever else rattling around. What we would do (rental unit so no investment), was to put paper towels, foam plates, or some light weight cardboard between everything just to mitigate the noise. I am sure if you own a unit you can use something maybe a little nicer.

I am located about 90 miles south of Albany off of exit 17 of the NYS Thursday. I am currently shopping for MY insurance. I have gotten 2 quotes. One was for 2K per year while the other was for 327 per year. I didn't like the difference between the two and am feeling out the forum. The other concern was the many extended warranties that are offered. Any input would be appreciated.

There are several threads here on extended warranties, here is one of them. Opinions vary but the majority seem to favor not buying extended warranties.

Thank You Jaycojones. I live in Newburgh, about 100 miles south of you. Who do you have your riginsured with and what is it costing you ?
I have 2 quotes one for $327 and one for over $2,000.
