New member-- 1995 jayco eagle sl 240

Hi, My wife and I live in MN and just purchased this 1995 Jayco eagle sl 240. We got a good deal on it, I hope. Paid 2500, but it does have some water damage on the right side and in the storage compartment area.
This is the first TT we have owned. Still going over things and checking everything out. The previous owners left a lot of stuff in it. Saved some and threw out a lot of it.
I am handy and plan to slowly dig into the water damaged problem. Jayco used that thinnnnnn plywood with a paper cover. I'll rip that out, and pull out the fiberglass insulation, replace with foam insulation and use 1/4 in plywood that has been painted. That should last as long as I am around.
We look forward to using it once the bugs get worked out of it.

Hi Tom and Deb,

Sorry, I meant to post this for you, but Auntie Eleanor had a day long 100th bday that pre-occupied me! Plug in all the info that you have on the tt you have to see what you could (?) have paid.... http://www.nadaguides.com/SectionHom...=25&p=0&f=5602 Maybe this site can help you in the future if anything when you buy/sell....
