New Member 1996 Jayco Eagle SL 210 Owners

HI!

My girlfriends and myself recently purchased a 1996 Jayco Eagle SL 210 for just over $500 that needed some TLC, and I am working to get it back into good working order. The floor has been repaired, windows and roof sealed, but the inside is for the most part gutted. I do like to work on my other vehicles, and I am not afraid of rolling up my sleeves and doing the work required. I need to learn more about the different systems such as the electrical, so I can do the required repairs, which I am hoping to learn and contribute as much as possible along the way from this group. I have attached a picture of the camper as it looks like at the moment.

welcome from Laprairie,québec, canada, enjoy your new buy, it's nice to see people giving a new life to an rv. your will learne a lot here , i like to try to fix repairs myself, before bringing the rig to the dealer,it's kind of satisfaction, more than saving money.

I really appreciate all the welcome messages! This is my first RV besides a Popup camper that I owned for a short period of time.

I feel the same way, and I enjoy fixing things myself, but it can become a real time sink and worth the cost to have certain things done by someone with more experience in order to have more time to enjoy life.
