New member!

Not new to camping, new to this forum.
I grew up as a "spoiled" camping kid, my dad had 3 weeks paid vacation when we started camping, I have seen it all, east coast west coast, north to into Canada South to Texas.
We had Starcraft, Apache fold downs, then 2 Jayco 14 footers.
We had a pickup with a topper, my brother and I slept there, mom and dad in the camper
He ended up with 5 weeks paid. Very fortunate kid!

I had not camped very much as an adult, tenting here and there, My wife and I had tent camped for a couple of years.
We bought a used Coleman fold down and used it for 2 years. after our son was born
We traded it off last year for a 22FB Jayco Jayflight. We love it! We bought it based on amenities and build quality.

Welcome to the Jayco Owners Forum Big Jim! My kids were spoiled like you. I think I got the travel bug from my dad but we did hotels when I was young. We started with our kids camping across the states mainly because that's what I liked to do. They are glad we did this for three summers while they were in middle school. They still talk about all the neat things they saw and did on the cross country campouts that covered the lower 48. Belated congrats on your new tt!
