New member and new to us 1996 Jayco Eagle SD pop up camper owner

Hello Everyone,
It is so wonderful to have this resource available to newbies like us. My hubby and I purchased our "new to us" pop up camper about 2 weeks ago and the information you all have provided has proven to be invaluable. From learning how to grease our push rods to sealing our seams and learning that we could contact Jayco and obtain our owner's manual for our year and model has been terrific. We plan on taking "her" on our first pop up camper trip within the next two weeks.

Maiden Voyage

Hello fellow Jayco folks,
Well we took our little "precious" out for her maiden voyage and my hubby rated the adventure a 10 out of 10 so I would say it was quite a success. We didn't look too foolish popping her up and taking her down and I think we have most things figured out but most importantly......we had a ball. It got down to about 33 degrees the night we camped (local trip first) but we were warm and toasty in our sleeping bags plus we brought a small portable heater along too which we used while we were playing board games at the dinette. We are already planning another little mini trip next week. I have attached some pics.
