New Member (ex-Lurker)

I've been lurking around the forum for a while. Last fall we bought a new 2018 212QB which was an upgrade for us from our old 2001 Coleman Cheyenne pop-up. I started doing some research a couple of years ago after I was done with the pop-up after a 45 minute, rain-filled setup in the dark after a 8 hour drive to our campsite in Forillon Nation Park in Gaspe (which is beautiful if you haven't been there). That combined with strategic mentioning to the DW about getting older and still having to go out at night to use the facilities, we found the unit and decided to make the jump. The kids are older (the youngest is about to start University in the fall), and if they want to join us, they can use a tent

The floorplan was the biggest draw for the trailer. Our camping plans are pretty simple for the next few years, just going to campgrounds within couple of hours of us; however, once the kids are done University (another 5 years or so), retirement (or at least semi-retirement) will happen and we will start to wander further afield. This gives me lots of time to get things tweaked the way we want them!

And I want to thank everyone for all of the great advice that I have already gleaned from the forum and I look forward to learning lots more as I delve into a new world of heaters, water pumps, black and grey tanks and water heaters!
