new member from alabama

bought a new starcraft 325rlsa last september. been camping about 8 times in it. we love it. our dealer told us how to fix everything with a camper
1. go camping at any camp ground
2. if you have a problem you cannot fix walk to the touge of the trailer and just look at the trailer
3. someone will come by and help or go get the guy who knows how to fix it.
I can testify that this works.

great forum, glad to be a member

You sure live in a wonderful part of the country... Good ole Tenn River right at your door steps...

Be sure to go Visit Desoto State park and Cloudland Canyon State Park just up the road from Desoto both on the Lookout Mtn... Both Great places Desoto probably alittle better for the bigger rig like you have. I'm a small trailer fan POPUPs and TTs up to 24-foot big enough for us...

Welcome, I like the strategy of standing at the tongue and looking at the camper. Having a spare ****tail will help as well.

That's what I did when we started. It worked.

Now, surprisingly, I can pay it back sometimes.

In my 20s, I sat on the side of I-81 for 30 minutes - staring into the engine compartment of my broken down VW while my young wife sat in the car. I got the idea to switch positions with her and within 45 seconds....BAM! - fish on!

The strategy is similar, but at least in your example there is no gender bias and you don't have to hide a tire iron in the leaves in case a weirdo stops....

Oh dear....I'm getting off track - welcome to JOF

Congratulations on your trailer purchase, and welcome to The Forum! Sage advice your dealer gave you! Just be sure you have a cold one handy as a "thank you" if I happen to be the Good Samaritan that comes over to help.

Congrats on the new Starcraft. We are camping at DeSoto state park this weekend and what I beautiful place. The pull throughs are at least 90' long and there is space between them. We will definitely be back here again!
