Hi,

Just joined the forum as we just put a deposit on a 2013 Jayco Flight Swift SLX 184BH (was looking on the 154BH but upon actual tour, liked the extra space on the 184). My friend also bought the same one at the same time

. Haven't picked it up yet as we have to prepare our vehicles for towing (Hitch, trailer wiring, brake controller, etc.)

We already have few campsite booked in the next few months, so hopefully we can finish preparing the vehicles LOL.

Good luck with the new camper. Make sure you have your tow vehicle properly equipped before heading out . Safety first. Well looking forward to seeing some pics

Welcome, Calgary!! Congrats on the new Jayco. I'll bet you can't wait to get to use it. We here in the Midwest are anxiously awaiting the arrival of spring-like weather, as I'm sure you are, too!

I'll be traveling through your beautiful country this summer going to and from Alaska. Should be in the Calgary area in early September to do the Icefields Parkway, Banff NP, etc.

Thanks, me and my friend are busy preparing the vehicle. He has a Chevy Equinox which I think some of the forum members also uses to tow a Travel trailer, they should be ok. For ours, we have a chevy venture minivan which is the same engine as the equinox (3.4L V6). Reading through Forums we are getting mixed recommendations , some says don't and others should be ok. What we thinking is to use the venture for now and test if it will be able to do it.

, if it's not able to do the work then we have no choice but to upgrade one of the vehicles LOL.

The Dealer will include a weight distribution hitch and sway stabilizer along with the new RV

Will post pictures once we are able to pick them up

Can't wait to do a lot of camping with no Tent to worry about

Plans had changed

just pulled a trigger on 2012 F150 XLT XTR as TV for the TT 184BH lol.

now, have to remove all the stuff that was added to the Chevy Venture.

Can't wait to get both.

You'll love the f150 cOOLMAN. I never had an interest in pickups until we decided on a travel trailer and figured we play it safe. Well we love it now and my wife don't mine driving it.

Thanks, looking forward to it, we are looking at Toyota Tacoma as it's a bit smaller in size but test driving the F150 it has lots of power LOL.
