Newly retired and decided to go RV’ing with my wife. Completed step one, which was to buy a proper tow vehicle and we are currently in the process of ordering a 36fbts unit. We’re looking forward to learning from the good folks on this forum and hopefully providing some value to the group once we’ve gained some experience.

We are nearing that age of retirement. You guys have us beat by a few years. Have a killer tow vehicle and just purchased a new 26RK for my wife and I and the two dogs. We are from Long Island and have many places to go here first. Once I retire, I can travel further. Maybe we will meet some day.

Don’t forget the finger lakes region and this time of the year you need to pickup a few Grape pies that are out of this world. Naples, at the southern end of Canadaigua Lake is where I usually get them but not this year for us because our main house is on the west coast and we’re not flying this summer.

Thanks for the welcome. Never been in an RV, so I’m learning a lot from the folks on this forum. Ordered our Jayco RV yesterday, so let the games begin!
