Welcome Ted. Glad to see another military and midwesterner on here. I have a Jay Feather 197 and currently residing in NC. Have you ever been down to the Shawnee Natl Forest down in S. Illinois? Beautiful area down there. I was born and raised in S. Indiana.

My first trip is next weekend. Spent yesterday getting everything ready...although it would have been a good weekend to go was 80 yesterday. Happy Camping.

Hi Ted and welcome to the Jayco Owners forum! Have you heard of Oelwein IA? Turned out to be a neat little area to camp/tour in when we traveled to Milwaukee last August.

Sounds like you had a neat career in the military. Here's a fun thread you can participate in when you get the time.... HERE
