We gave up the tent thing in 2005 when we got hit with a E1 tornado. Yes, we slept thru it. 2006 we got a Viking pop up 4 box and got a 8 pop up which gave us headaches and gave up by selling in 2016 for a Jayco 20 footer sleeps 3. Then sold that for a coachman last year. They were sold out on what we wanted with the Jayco. But the coachman had my wish list and we bought it. 21 footer. But I am still here. I did love that Jayco. Just a little too small when I realized I had a daughter who wanted to bring friends camping with us. Ouch. The new one sleeps 5. Bunk model. I love it. Heading to Colorado in July. Enjoy the mini apartment on wheels.

Welcome! This forum is great for information and it provides a wonderful comforting "I'm not alone with this..." feeling. And for me an often "Sure am glad we just have our simple little rig!" : )

We tent camped, mostly primitive, for 50 years and loved it until the creeping problems of older age made it more difficult. Now we have our half trailer half tent and love the security, still sleeping in the open air, and the bathroom.

Best wishes for another year of great camping with your rig and the wealth of help and ideas from this forum.

Greeting from Oregon. Enjoy your new purchase. We are in our 4th year of RV'n and love it. We snowbird'd in Arizona the last two winters to avoid the Oregon winter rain, but love the oregon summer RV parks, Have Fun
