I am the original owner of my 2009 Jayco 1207. I used to camp at least a few times a year, until the last 3 years. Unfortunately, for health reasons, our family was unable to camp, so our gently used pop up sat unused and outdoors for 3 years in Wisconsin with harsh winters. This summer we decided we wanted to try and make another go of it. We replaced the tires, packed the bearings, brought it home, power washed the outside, got excited to pop it up...... and
Something is broken, everyone is sad. It has led me here.
We unlatched everything and started to turn the crank, the rear side started to raise and the other didn't so I brought it back down. Tried again and the head side started to go up, but then the rear was stuck. After some trial and error, a lot of crank up a little and back down, and investigation, it seems the main issue is now in the back left corner. Hubby was able to raise the corner manually, while I cranked the other sides up, but it will fall again without support. I also now see a hole in the floor and a metal coil hanging out on that side. I just want to kick myself for letting it sit so long. Worried this is going to cost more than its worth to be able to use again.

Welcome!

How handy are you? I once bought a 1972 pop-up that had two rotted corners. I had to remove the roof and take apart all the cabinetry in the front to rebuild the floor. It was a lot of work. The hard part is getting the cables adjusted right when putting it back together.
