New member intro

We just bought some land in east Texas but not ready to build, so putting a trailer on it for now for a weekend cabin. My parents had a travel trailer and enjoyed the vacations and the weekend get aways with it. I have had a great time on my Motorcycle forums and looking forward to learning and passing on any knowledge I can share.

Welcome to JOF

There are a few of us JOF members that ride motorcycles as well ...., sold my HD Road King Classic last year, now have my short list down to a Kawasaki KLR 650 or a BMW G 650 GS.

Hello and welcome. Darn helpful group, except Tunce has got a valance problem that seems to have humbled our experts - for the moment.

I expect the trailer version of the Nobel prize is awarded for whomever solves this, so far, inexplicable valance issue.

regards, Dave

Search 'Tunce the Traveler" and 'valence" for perhaps the oddest mystery I have seen posted here.

My wife and I are also long time motorcycle riders and new RV owners. We have been riding two-up on a succession of Hondas since we met in high school in 1970 and have just purchased our first RV this week. We are heading out to a nearby state park in the morning on our first outing.

Having read several bike-related forums for some time, I have been very impressed with the level of civility and desire to help that I've seen in the JOF.
