New member new to camping

Hi all! We just took the leap and bought a camper! We don't have it just yet, but I pick it up in a couple weeks and am excited to put it to good use. We got a deal on a slightly used 2022 264BH which fit our needs and budget. I just have to do some work to my truck so it's ready to do the job of hauling it safely down the road.

Being new to the camping scene I wanted to join a group which would have the most information and experience available to me so this forum seems like the perfect place.

We live in central NY and have a lot of camping sites available around us to go to. We are going to try to sneak in a trip or two before the season ends this year which is quickly approaching.

I look forward to many conversations here as I learn more about our camper and traveling with it.

Cheers!

Welcome from Southeast PA!

We have the same camper in the 2019 flavor. Works great for our family of four, we have just under 8,000 miles on it over the last 2 years of ownership. Only major problems we have had are squirrel related, otherwise just be handy and take care of small stuff before it becomes a big issue.

Congrats!

Thanks for the welcomes! I do consider myself handy and plan on addressing any issues I can with the trailer myself, unless it's out of my league.
