Hi, I just found this forum for Jayco owners. I have been camping for a little over 50 years. Started with tent, several pickup campers followed, then tent trailer and finally went to bumper pull trailers. I bought a new 310FS SS in 1996 and have really enjoyed it. I have had very little trouble with this trailer (knock on wood). When it was new the rear door was replaced under warranty because the glass fell down in the door. Also the water pump was replaced by the dealer but I think the real problem was and still is an air leak somewhere.
Pump will not supply water unless primed.
Not a real problem because where I camp we have pressure water. I only use the pump to winterize.
TV is a 2003 Dodge ***mins and I really like this truck!
I am looking forward to hearing what other Jayco owners have to say about their unit. I hope you all enjoy your Jayco as much as I have mine.
Welcome to the Forum, grayhackle. You might want to read some of the older threads--lots of info about how other Jayco owners like their units as well as lots of photos.

Welcome aboard grayhackle !!! Its an honor to have your experience here. Glad your still hang'n with the '96. Our '02 is doing very well. We've only had it since 7/4/10 but we are very impressed. The older units seem to be well broken-in by now, so its easy for us to keep on-top of things, and learn as we go.
We're not towing, but still spending alot of time in it. (nearly every weekend)
Look'n forward to hear'n from ya !
