New Member picking up 2012 X23B on Saturday

I am so excited to be able to finally pick up my new 2012 X23B on Saturday June 2nd. I started in a tent as most of us did, then I dreamed about a pop up, which I did with the 1998 Coleman Cheyenne Pop Up, and then I dreamed about owning and expandable TT, which is now becoming a reality. Our first camping trip will be to Knoebel's Amusement Park in Elysburg, Pa, which is one of our favorite camping spots for the last 12+ years. I’ll keep you posted on how the new X23B works out for me.

Hi gcmcal68! We are new 23B owners as well. Just picked ours up last weekend. Hope you guys enjoy it as much as we are. Our first official trip is next weekend. We started out in the driveway just to have it home for the weekend. Would love to share experiences with the 23B as well. Have fun!

Hi Campin' Muds,

We will keep in touch to share experiences and perhaps find out together tips and tricks about our campers. Dry run this Saturday night in our driveway.

Sounds good gcmcal68! First small tip, don't let the shower run too long on the curtain - water will make its way through and leak on the floor. Was waiting to show my wife the water pressure of the shower and left it running unattended . won't make that mistake again. Have fun camping in the driveway!

Welcome to the forum gcmc. I knew Knobels as a kid I spent my early teens in Green Lane not far from you, born in NE Pa. outside Wilkes-Barre. Just got myself a 2013 Jay Feather 228 for the family to camp. Lots of great people here with tons of info, enjoy your time here and with the new camper.

All,
Thanks for the warm welcome and the tips! Isuduke- Green Lane is very close. I used to take my kids to the Deep Creek campground at the Green Lane Park. My first home was in Perkiomenville just down the road from there.

Yep went to school at upper Perk middle school, lived across the street from the dam, spent quite a few days fishing there. I remember ice cream at Rosenberg's? was in Red Hill if I remember right. Haven't been back in quite a while, have a cousin in Allentown, but never seem to make it to her place. By the time I make the 6 hr trip from Rochester to Wilkes-Barre, where I still have family, not looking to spend another hour to get to Green Lane.

Enjoy the new Jayco, we spent last weekend prepping for the first trip, she should be ready to go just need clothes and food and we can hook and go. Any questions feel free to ask, everyone is very friendly and willing to share their knowledge, very cool forum.
