New member to the community,

Hello everyone!

I've been lurking for some time and thought that I would join the community. There are always some interesting threads and where better to obtain useful information than with other Jayco owners.

We just traded a 2008 29BHS for a 2016 34RSBS last Friday. Can hardly wait to take it out for its maiden voyage but that will have to wait for a couple of weeks yet. We need to get it out soon though so we can check it out thoroughly and locate all the bugs. There's usually a few minor things. I have already decided that there may be a plumbing issue. This unit has two grey water tanks and, the dealer indicated that "grey 1" was the kitchen sink and " grey 2" was the bathroom. Well everything runs into "grey 1" so, either the other tank is not plumbed or it's actually an overflow tank.

Anyway just wanted to introduce myself and, looking forward to some interesting conversations.

I'll have to check, but I have two grey tanks as well. I understood that the 2 sinks were in #1, and the shower was direct to #2

Congrats on the new rig and welcome from Colorado

Welcome Aboard!

See if you can slide under your TT and have a look at the waste lines to get a clue on which sink goes to what tank.

I have heard of some weird configurations but mine is: #1 bath shower/sink, #2 kitchen sink. Closest to the front is #1 on my floor plan.

It is good to know these little things about a rig.

BTW welcome to JOF. How is it you never heard of us before the new rig?

Mine has the plumbing for a washer/dryer but I have never used it and have no clue where it drains.

I have gone back and double check and, the rearward tank is definitely #1 wth the front tank being #2. All of the waste "grey" water is going to #1. I will follow up with Jayco Technical Support to verify how it is supposed to be plumbed.

I have visited this site numerous times but, I just never took the time to register.

I did look underneath but can't see the lines due to the underpinning.

Thanks for all of the warm welcomes.

I will post up my findings of the plumbing issues when I get to the bottom of it...

Hi Amos! Welcome from Mississippi (right next door). My unit is #1 is bathroom sink, shower and washer (which we don't have), #2 is kitchen sink all by itself. I hope you have an enjoyable first trip. I'm still kind of new to the community but I really enjoy it.
