New member white hawk 23MBH

Hi everyone. Just bought our 2015 white hawk 23MBH today. This is our first TT, very exited. Can't wait to use it for the first time. We got it from camping world of bakersfield at 32% off MSRP. I hope this was a good deal. We are exhausted after the negotiations.

Any advice for a new Jayco owner and first time TT guy? Is there any other members from bakersfield or the Central Valley on here?

Thank everyone

Congratulations on your new White Hawk. There will always be someone who says you didn't get the lowest price. Personally if it feels good for you, then don't look back! Tons of stuff on this and other forums for folks that are new to this. Our first trailer was a 23' Coachmen and first couple trips were nerve wracking trying to figure things out. We have a really supportive group here so definitely ask away. Happy camping and safe travels!

I have a 2015 a WhiteHawk 23mbh. We just completed a 23 day, 5500 km trip.

Love the layout!

The rear drawers do need extra support. Ours 'dropped' after a bump on the highway. The support at the rear of the drawers does not go down to the floor deck. Cheap construction there. But nothing some lumber, screws and glue could not fix. Did not budge the rest of the trip.

Kelowna, BC to Phoenix to Moab, Utah and back.

The Murphy bed rocks!

Which drawers are you talking about. We have a 2014 so not sure if there is any difference

Welcome to the JOF and congrats on the TT. My advice would be to read as much as you can on this forum and others. You'll learn a lot. Happy camping!

White Hawk 2015 23MBH Drawers

My trailer has a murphy bed at the hitch end and single bunks parallel to the rear bumper. There is also a closet with three kitchen-like drawers beside the bunks and rear door.

My apologies for the sideways picture.

The back support of the drawers is only held by a few staples into that upright 4 inch wide 'strip' of wood that does not go all of the way down to the floor.

The staples popped and all three drawers sagged. So, glue, screws and some wood did the trick.

Congrats! I have a JayFlight 23MBH on order and am very impatiently awaiting it's arrival. I think the floorplan is a great compromise vs a larger trailer. I owned a 31' trailer about 10yrs ago; loved the layout and space but absolutely hated towing it and trying to find spots when dry camping. I think the 23MBH still gives plenty of room while keeping the overall length to a minimum. I just wish the bunks were a hair bigger, I think my kids will outgrow the bunks before I am ready to sell the trailer....oh well.
