New Mexico newby
Hello Forum. Have been following this for months and I love it. Will pick up our 2014 24FBS in a few weeks. Can't wait to get on the road again. 2 pop-ups and a 16' trailer later, we are finally getting something that we can move around in! All the mods I have been seeing gives me so many projects I can't hardly stand it. Thanks much.

Glad to hear it!...Some of the most practical and fun mods are the ones that cost the least. Keep us posted...

NM is a great place to camp. Will be interesting this year as it has been such a dry winter some areas may start closing down. I'm still hoping for rain/snow!

We are new to NM camping. What are your favorite places? Yes it is very dry here and we pray for moisture soon. We camp mostly in CO and AZ.

On my new 24 fbs, what is the rear bumper weight capacity? Doesn't look like much. Can I add a hitch and then a cargo box or bikes? have heard horror stories that most trailer bumpers are not really sturdy bumpers.

Your right, it's is DRY DRY DRY here. We camp all over the place - mostly national forests boondocking. Jemez is close to ABQ so great for a quick weekend trip. Haven't seen a bad State Park yet - not all appeal to everyone as they are very different.
Good luck, and enjoy our wonderful state!
