Bought a 2003 Eagle 12 Fso.
First camper we have owned.
Been tent camping for over 10+ years but with a kid we wanted some heat.
Just wanted to say hello.

Welcome natedog. Another thing you`ll appreciate with a kid is a bathroom. Nothing like sleeping in a tent and at 3am your 5yr old wakes you up to go potty and ya gotta walk to the bath house! Enjoy the Eagle. -Lee

Natedog, we also started in a tent and moved up to "rented" pop-ups to keep the bears from eating the grandkids, then bought our first Jayco. Welcome to the site....you will like us...just don't take some of us too seriously.

You will love the PUP. We had ours for 9 yrs. and loved it. We made 4 cross country trips with it in tow along with hundreds around the southwest areas. We had the set up and tear down, down to a science. You will love the creature comforts it has. Enjoy and welcome.

You'll love the pop up. I have had 2 Jayco pups and really enjoyed the compactness. Would still have one if it was up to me. The wife wanted to upgrade and ditch the tent ends. I loved the outdoor feel and amenities over tent camping. Enjoy your new Jayco!

Just spend 4 hours over the weekend cleaning the out side. Used a product called Awesome. father uses it on his Big Horn you can get it at the Dollar store.
Almost looks like a new camper. Just need to redo some of the seals now. Last owner did a sloppy job. it works but i don't like it.

hi fellow michigander! welcome to the forum.
i too was a tent camper for many years, then purchased a viking popup a couple years ago. last year, i bought a jay feather sport 165. it's small, but enough for a single guy and a dog (no, not my wife!).
what part of the great lake state you from? royal oak here. any favorite campgrounds? i like holly rec for something nearby.
