New owner of 2017 Greyhawk 30X

Took our new motorhome directly from the sales office in grain valley, missouri to campsite at smithville lake. We immediately had issues with the instant hot water unit staying on. Called the route 66 rv tech line and was told it doesn't work if the water pressure is to low, we were on city water, so he had us switch to the reserve tank and use the pump, and it worked. Wish we had read the issues of these hot water units before purchasing. See that jayco has switched back to tanks for the new 2018's.

CONGRATULATIONS on the JAYCO!!!

...and WELCOME TO JOF!!! The members here are GREAT!!! There is a lot of GREAT information to be found here. I am sure that you will have information and pictures to share with us... so please do!!

You are not missing anything by not having the tankless water heater. Went through 2 of them in our house (electric ones). DW was very unhappy with them.

Congratulation on the new 2017 Greyhawk and welcome to JOF. Be sure to read many of the posts on this site. We have learned a great deal and have found solutions to most of the issues we have encountered. Lots of great people on this site.
