Smile New Owner of 24RKS

I have noticed that when I turn on the water heater that the wall of the shower (on the outside wall) begins to weep water. I can hear the water dropping down between the shower wall and the wall it is attached to and then it runs out the joint between the wall and the base.

Does anyone have and ideas or suggestions on how I can search out the problem. Thanks Greg

It seems obvious you have a serious water leak. What year is your trailer? Is it still under warranty?

And welcome to the forum.

2x

Don't use the shower until you get the leak fixed to keep from having future mold and rot issues.

Greg,

Welcome to JOF

As mentioned, if it's under warranty take it back to the RV dealer and file a warranty service claim.

There are a number of root cause possibilities: loose shower faucet connector, compromised PEX line (staple, split), missing/damaged connector cone seal, etc.. Remove access panels (i.e.; base of shower) in the area and look for signs of moisture with a flashlight. Also check the bathroom sink, toilet, and HWH connections.

Congratulations on the new rig and welcome to JOF. Like others have noted, get this issue addressed regardless of whether or not there is a warranty. You do not want mold to develop, it is very difficult to get rid of once mold sets in.
