Cool New owner of a 2007 23b jay feather!!

Hi everyone!
We are picking up our new/used camper on Friday! We are super excited to be moving up from a 10 ft box pup!
I am most nervous about pulling it with our chevy crossover (traverse) but our salesman and auto dealer assured me it is fine.. We havebte factory installed towing package!
any advice or thoughts are welcome! I cannot wait to stare at all that storage space!!!

I just sold my 19H to a couple that had a Traverse. The dealer said it was rated for 5250 lbs. which I was quite surprised by. I am not sure what the tongue weight rating is, but the dealer said it was not an issue.

Enjoy the camper....you are sure moving up in the world.

Make sure to purchase a WD (weight distribution) hitch, ideally one with an integrated sway control system. I have the Equalizer brand and am very satisfied with how my combinations handles. Other than I have to depress the gas pedal a little harder you don’t even know the TT is back there.

By the way, I love all the space of my 2012 23B. It is a great trailer. If yours is similar to mine, there is a few mods I would recommend. Remove the false panel under the slide out sofa. This is a great place to store shoes. I modified the front hatch greatly, and reframed the dinette. Now I have a full width hatch, with no interruptions (I had to move the 12V wire harness too), in the process converted the dead space behind the dinette backrest into a linen cabinet. I added three wire shelves to one of the wardrobe cabinets.

I fully expect you will love this layout.
