New owner of an '06 Feather Sport 165

Hello everyone,
Just picked up a Feather Sport 165.

Really excited and a little worried. A little work ahead of us!

The sellers advised a little water damage from an air conditioner seal leak and a repaired floor - dry unit with no issues, cosmetic only but will need tires.

This has now turned into an entire floor needing replacing as the repair was a cover up (10 year old son is able to push a screw driver through the floor - everywhere ... the lenolium is what is holding it together). The small leak in the roof seal repaired by dealership in 2007 .. - results in the roof needing to be pulled down as the blister is soaking wet, wood rot and musty!

So I will look for advise and encouragement and see where I get to.

Thanks to all who have gone ahead to blaze a path for me to follow!

John

Welcome to the site from SW Michigan. Sorry to hear about that leak having been so bad. Good luck with the project!

Welcome from northeast Illinois.

Sorry that you are already having trouble with your unit. Unfortunately, it's just part of the adventure of this way of life. The good memories will far outweigh the bad ones.

Thanks, I am up to taking the fridge out, then tub and toilet.

I am actually considering taking the 7 pin wiring and adding a junction box outside the trailer and adding a battery master switch.

I seem to come up with more options every minute!
