New Owners of an 07 Greyhawk Sport

Hi all,

After years of talking about buying an RV, my wife and I have finally made the leap. We are picking up a 2007 Greyhawk Sport 28QB on Wednesday evening. We are pretty green on camping as adults although my wife spent a lot of time in popups as a kid and I did my share of tent camping. We have a 7 year old daughter and a 4 year old son and we didn't want to miss out on exploring the country as a family.

We obviously have a lot to learn and will surely make many mistakes along the way, hopefully buying this RV won't be one of them! We are located in Central IL and will be making mostly local trips this summer because we had already scheduled vacations with parents and in-laws already and have limits on how much time-off we can take.

We settled on a motorhome as we thought it would add to the adventure of our trips, even though it might limit somewhat where we can get too. We had previously almost bought a 26BHS but thought that long journeys in my supercab f-150 might not be for us.

I've been reading like a mad man the last month or so and hope to continue to learn more here and elsewhere.
