Well we went to the local RV show to "look" around and ended up trading our travel trailer in on a 2013 Redhawk 26XS. Pretty excited about it. It's an entry level unit but it sure doesn't feel like it. We are excited about this price point because it allows us to have a motor home when we normally wouldn't be able to afford it. Certainly not a new one.
We were stupid when we bought the travel trailer and paid too much. This time we did our homework and got a good deal. The modifications have already started. We had a slide topper installed and two create-a-breeze fans with Fan Mate covers installed. This unit only comes with a "computer fan" for a bathroom fan and no fan at all in the other vent above the bedroom. I knew that wasn't going to cut it. Now we can turn both fans on high and crack the front windows. We can get a good breeze from front to back.
