New RV Owners in Minneapolis

Greetings,
My family just made the transition from tent camping to our first travel trailer by purchasing a 2017 Flight SLX 267. I joined this forum before buying the TT and it has been extremely informative, but it's obvious that we still have a lot to learn!
One of the reasons we made the switch is that we have two St Bernards and they want to go on vacation, too. Putting two dogs that size in a kennel is pretty expensive and you have to plan way ahead to even get a reservation. Now we can take the whole family out on the road whenever there is an opportunity.
We have already done a lot of road trips. My 13 year old son has set foot in almost every state east of the Mississippi River. Later this month we'll finally be heading west. I've actually covered most of the western states on motorcycle trips with my friends and I'm looking forward to getting out there with the family in our new RV.

Welcome aboard. Lots of great places close to home. We get out almost every other weekend. All we need to add is the clothing and food, and we are off. Everything else stays in the TT, between trips.
