new rv'er and Jayco owner

DW and I bought our first travel trailer 1.5 years ago. Upgraded to a Jay Flight 34 RSBS last month. Really excited about the coming "season". We are recently retired and have only done close local trips but planning some longer ones this year. We are new to the RV scene but I am a camper from long ago. I actually was a YMCA Camp Director for several years so LOTS of tent camping and backpacking. Sure like the RV life better We live in Knoxville TN so near LOTS of great mountain and lake sites. Look forward to reading and sharing as time goes by.

Welcome to JOF. You are in an excellent location. We pass through Knoxville to-and-from visiting our daughter's family in Nashville. Lots of great parks in your region.

Looking forward to seeing how you like your camper. We ordered the same model. How long from the time you ordered until you actually saw your camper? We will be happy to get the call that it has arrived.

We did the same as you did. We traded in our 2014 29REKS for this one.

We actually saw the unit at the Knoxville RV show on the first day (Jan 9th)and bought it. Had to leave it with them to show the rest of the weekend but we took position a few days later (Jan 15) . 2-3 people ordered one that weekend but don't know their wait time but it has been 4 weeks now and the salesman told me yesterday that they are not in yet.

Welcome to the forum. I just took a lady to the airport flying to TN to meet her husband. I've only been down your way one time in January. It must be beautiful in the other three seasons.

Good luck with you new TT.
