New To Camper Living

Hi,

I just picked up my first camper trailer a couple of days ago, a new Jay Flight 26BH. I haven't spent the night in it yet, but plan on going to the lake this weekend for the maiden voyage. Here's a pic of my new setup...

I'm self employed and my work is all done on the computer, so I can go just about anywhere and do what I need to do. Last winter I made the decision that one way or another, I wouldn't live through another Kansas winter, and now with my Jayco, I don't have to. I don't particularly like the hot windy summers here either, so I'm thinking North in the summer, South in the winter. And pass though KS in the spring and fall.

Glad I found the forums here. I've already learned quite a bit. Thanks.

Later,

Bill

I too work on the computer all day, but unfortunately I'm stuck in an office that's in a building.

Welcome, Bill. Might want to consider Texas for your winter destination--lots of campgrounds in the Corpus Christi-Brownsville area cater to snowbirds. There also great campgrounds throughout the state but those north of the Austin area can get pretty cold in the winter months.

Thanks for the warm welcome, everyone. And Seann, I just traded my old Chevy truck in for the new Dodge... thought it was time for an upgrade. LOL

Have a good one,
