New to forum

HELLO to everybody...

I am DON from Marion, MS.
I'm a truck driver and run 48 States.

My wife Faye and I have a 2005 29BHS that we purchased used. It was originally a FEMA unit used in Florida after Hurricane Ivan.
It was in EXCELLENT shape, and for $2300 we couldn't pass it up.
It has been "heavily modded" by us to fit our lifestyle since the kids are grown and gone.
It is a "keeper" for us, meaning we don't plan to re-sell it, so most of our mods are permanent.
..... AND there is a lot more I plan to do as funds and time allow.

We are VERY pleased with JAYCO and their customer support, and if we ever buy another RV it will be a Jayco forr sure.
They have provided a LOT of information that we were told some dealers just don't do.

It was nice to find a JAYCO SPECIFIC forum and all you nice folks.
I hope I can contribute and help somebody ...... and LEARN some stuff myself.

Welcome to the JOF Don and Faye! As we have roughly the same floor plan, it would be nice to see more of your mods (I saw the first few pics you posted so far). I have a brother who does long haul in the So Western states and rode with him once. You have a perspective from both the trucking and rv'ing perspective where outside of reading forums, us siblings had to share our experiences and a 'ride' to gain knowledge where otherwise we wouldn't have. Glad you could find us
