I'm probably missing something... Your trailer didn't come from the factory with the ability to heat water by electric, propane or both at the same time? My 2014 did and it wasn't an option... It was standard equipment.

Nope. Just propane heat. Or there's a switch I haven't found yet. My manual gives me picture of it if installed and there's nothing there.

That's so weird. I always thought it was standard as well. I mean, why would anyone ever opt NOT to have the ability to switch back and forth? It can't be a weight issue? Everything is pretty much there..for the most part. Did they (dealer) specifically express it had a propane only heater system? Or did they just scoot past it?

Johnny, do you have a panel on the wall to the right of the sink? If so show us a pic. That panel on mine has the gauges for the tanks, the battery and some switches. One of those switches is to turn water heater gas on and off and there is another switch to turn the water heater electric on and off...

I think you are going to find that either you already have it or it is a on demand water heater.
I'll get my popcorn!

Do you have the mechanical water heater with a standing pilot light?

(They still make them, you know. Ask my self-contained, portable wash station in my shop.)

From what I've been able to find out, the 26bh has the dual option. The 264bhw has propane only. It has less fancy features than the 26bh, that being one of them.

The kid that did the walk through said it was propane. I figured he wasn't sure, turns out he was right. (There were a few things he wasn't up to snuff on).

Oh, yeah. And the switch beside the sink just fires off the propane burner. You can hear it when there's no noise.

Not sure, Mike. I'll try to narrow down specs tomorrow.
