New to forum and new to RVing

Just joined the forum. I recently purchased a used 2013 Jay Feather 242. It is like new, and purchased it from a local RV dealer. Maiden voyage is next week into The Bald Eagle State Forest.

In the process of stocking the RV and purchasing needed items for the first outing. I am looking forward to not sleeping on the ground in a tent anymore - especially at my age.

You will LOVE RV camping. My wife coerced me into it last year upon my retirement and I can honestly say that, I get any when not planning and going on trips.

Jayco Pinnacle Newbee!

Greetings! I am happy to be included in this group. We are newbee full-timers in our 2017 Jayco Pinnacle FBTS. I'm not sure I am posting this to the right thread but oh well. We are stationary for now and are still unpacking. We are in TX. We downsized form a 4 bedroom house to a 2 bedroom apartment for 3 years. And now to the RV. We are feeling nervous about this new adventure. Our plan is to keep working for about 1 more year then retire and travel. I look forward to reading about Jayco learning experiences, questions, answers, and suggestions.

Welcome Bruce from Altoona. I am also from Altoona but moved to Virginia in 1985 for work.
Now I am retired and my wife and I are RVing for the first time as well. We bought a used rig, 2002 Jayco Designer 5th wheel with 2003 Ford Super Duty Dually, to see if we like RVing. If so, we'll probably upgrade the RV.
Have fun in the Bald Eagle area.
We are headed to Williamsburg, VA in mid- August for our first trip.

Just purchased a Go-Power 120W solar battery charger for boondocking next week.
